It’s been a long road to this point. In fact, we’ve both written in most of our anniversary cards something like, “Wow. It’s been rough but I love you and I choose you again and again.”
We’ve both wanted to walk away at times. We’ve both harbored hate in our souls for the other. We’ve both said things we wish we could erase. But. God. By His grace we have a redemptive story to tell.
Next week is the official launch of my new book — our new book — called To Walk or Stay. And I have to tell you. I could have — would have — never written what God taught me through that dark valley had my husband not bravely, humbly released me.
His sin struggle may lay the backdrop, but this book isn’t about him or his betrayal. Because it’s only by God’s grace that the tables weren’t turned. Seriously. When left to me, I’m just as broken.
This book is about God. It’s about His love and sufficiency. It’s about His desire to meet with us in the deepest of pits and minister healing. It’s about hope regardless of the circumstance.
I could have never written the words in this book had my man not wholeheartedly, graciously supported it. So today, I want to publicly thank him. God has done a miraculous work in him, in our marriage, and in my own selfish, wayward heart.
So get ready. About 40 bloggers are joining me next week in the launch. (Lord, bless them for their sweet support.) Plus we’ll have surprise giveaways and music and dancing and coffee. Well, you bring the music and dancing and coffee and we’ll bring the surprises.
Until then, have a great weekend, friends. And if He leads, any prayers for this book and its effects are much appreciated.
Oh and if you can’t wait until then, click here to go ahead and order your copy. I won’t stop you.
