Thanks Lara. The truth I try to remind myself is that no matter what occurs in my life, it is well because it’s in God’s hands. My version of Romans 8:28 as ALL things work out for good. I had a rough day today with my little one and this reminds me to be more empathic with myself. Blessings.

I feel like I could have written these words myself: ” I don’t want someone to tell me how great I am. Well, that’s a lie. I love it when someone tells me I’m great. But if I’m honest with myself, I see my discrepancies. I need reminding of how great my God is.” The only way to really be a life GIVER in relationships is to remember whose I am and Who my God is. When I have His truth so permanently written on my heart, the only thing that CAN pour out of me is life. I have so loved this series – thank you for boldly speaking these truths, because this series is so needed.

Amen. Great reminder about REAL encouragement. “True encouragement arises when His Spirit fills us full.”
