Thanks for sharing the verse from Proverbs, I don’t think I’ve ever paid any attention to it. But so true, and I need the reminder!? Plus I’m not much of a goal setter but I do make plans at times that include if it’s God’s will, it will come to pass..

Last year was my first year truly making goals and taking steps to achieve them – I started a photography business and starting homeschooling our daughter! You should check out Lara Casey’s blog. She is amazing and who I credit with jumpstarting my life changes and goal setting. Such an answer to prayers!

Great post, Lara! I’ve been thinking about this lately, because I’m a “A” type personality, who is also a bit distracted by the MILLION things you have to do daily as a mom. I was reading the parable of the talents in Matthew and my takeaway was that God doesn’t give us a quota, but he does give us a call to action. We need to DO stuff, in Jesus’ name. But, not so caught up in where we’re going, that we miss his voice TODAY. If I don’t write it down though, I’m like you, prone to leave my kids at Chick-fil-a!
