I've been saying this for years ... as moms we touch lives and our love for the Lord and the things we do at home will eventually overflow into eternity; like the ripples on the pond. So make every day count. You will find that when you start your day with God's word and then reflect & meditate on it throughout the day while changing diapers & washing dishes & folding laundry, your attitude about everything else will change, and that LOVE will overflow into your home.

Everything goes back to our "heart." And our "motivation" for why we do things. And how we do or say things to & for those we love and our closest to us.

Oh sister. I said those words at one point in my growing up -- trying to convince my own soul. By God's grace, He faithfully drew me back to himself. Praying for and with you now.

Lara, thank you for being the soul and spirit of this online space God has provided you. I know when I come here to read, I'm reading the words of a sister who loves God. Not a perfect sister, but one who points us to the Perfect One. Always.

Thankful for you today

PS... I am anxiously awaiting the debut of your mad rhymes.

" I want to be a safe place for them to be messy and emotional or even confused about their faith. The soul and spirit of our home."

Thank you, Thank you for speaking to my heart this morning. Thank you for being willing to be used by God to touch so many lives. I needed these exact words, desperately. This morning as we walked out of the house, my 15 year old son looked at me and said, "Mom don't be mad, but I'm an athiest. And yes, I know what that means."
