I’m uncertain if crying is considered “handling,” but that’s usually at least one of my responses when it gets difficult. When love is tough, not easy. When it requires choice, not just how I feel. When how I feel does not match up to what I know is true. I pray, if I can find the words. Usually I have one verse and I cling to it until the life in the words become true to me. This happens especially when someone comes to me with something that they believe is not right in my life. It’s how I distinguish their opinion from the truth.
