Oh girl, I totally know what you mean. Most days — like today — I wonder the same thing, “Is any of this really sinking in?!” I think that’s when we are to walk by faith that yes, He will bury these truths into their hearts and in time they will birth to new life. Preaching it to myself, friend. I prayed for you today while I was in the midst of the mommy-wildness. “You can do this thing! Because you can do all things through Christ! Run it, sister-mama-friend!”

I too had a tough day with my son…well and the girls. We are in a rough patch here of poor choices and each day I question myself “am I really do anything here?” It’s hard. I needed this encouragement to start the day. Remembering they are weak and so am I. Yes, we need each other. Thank you.
P.S. Oh I wanted to tell you we’ve adopted the “love up and out” here in our home as well. I can’t say I see much of a difference these days but I pray it and say it about a million times a day to them (and me!). Hoping it sticks sometime!
