I am thankful. I am so-not-really a Bible Study girl...I guess I never really "got it". It clicked today. The focus is on Jesus- from first mention to Mary from the angel, to birth and beyond. I get it! (I know this is obvious to some, but this was really an "ah-ha" moment for me.)
I also loved the evangelism being overflow- HOW CAN WE NOT LOVE JESUS SO LOUDLY??!! -this overflow is my heart's cry!!
You mentioned the shepherds leaving their flocks behind, which is great because the fact that THEY RAN spoke so loudly to me and your addition (about the flocks) was confirmation- THEY WERE EXCITED!
And then there is Mary...she tucked these sweet words about this precious baby she just birth, she tucked them into her heart and thought about them often.
I am SO GRATEFUL for this timely study.
Thank you for loving Jesus so loudly, Lara!

This week's study has been life changing for me. I have been in a stressed out rut from all the "busyness" of my life. Focusing on Jesus, and what He came to do for us, takes the focus off of me, and where it should be- on Him. I love these words that you wrote for today's study (Dec. 4), "When my walk with the Lord is complacent or my mind is occupied with things of this world, Jesus doesn't flow out of my lips as naturally. But when my heart is bent towards worship, He naturally comes out. He comes out in what I say or how I respond to life - evangelism in the overflow." AMEN! Oh, I truly want this for my own life. This has become my prayer, that as my heart bends toward worship, He will come out in what I say and how I respond to life. I really need that right now. Thank you so much for this study, it is truly a blessing! Take care, and have a wonderful and blessed weekend! ~ Debra
