Lara Howard

teaching women to think on true things

December 15, 2012 By Lara

in the wake of tragedy

The only thing that seems appropriate in these early moments after the CT school tragedy is silence. And tears. And then deep, soulful prayers.

So today I purposefully pause to weep with those who weep, not preach to those who weep. Only God and time can truly tend to these types of gashes.

Won’t you join me in the quiet. With much love.

But I am poor and needy;
Yet the LORD thinks upon me.
You are my help and my deliverer;
Do not delay, O my God.
Psalm 40:17
