teaching women to think on true things

He Gifted You :: 1 {You’re Being Beckoned}

He gifted you. The Maker of heaven and earth gifted YOU — individually and purposefully. Someone needs to be reminded.

We didn’t create the gifts that make us unique. We didn’t even choose them. He placed them upon us out of His great grace and for His deserved glory. Now He calls us to be good stewards.

In preparation for the start of a new year, I’m prompted to do a short, five-post series about our own unique gifted-ness. I plan to look at why He gifts us, how to discover and walk in our gifted-ness, and finally, keeping perspective along the way.

The kingdom of God doesn’t need another Beth or another Ann or another Kay. The kingdom of God beckons you and me to rise up boldly and confidently in the identity He has placed upon us. He calls and equips us to fully be who He created us to be.

For You formed my inward parts; You knitted me together in my mother’s womb.
I praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Psalm 139:13-14

He. Gifted. YOU.

Fill me, Lord…

How have you wrestled with the idea of being gifted by God?

    Oh this will be good! Can’t wait to read, I think we all need to be mie aware of our gifts and then have the courage to use them.

    I know what gift I have been given my struggle is doing with it what God wants me to. The other struggle is I have become aware that the way I currently use my gift I am doing for myself and not for Him. I have found a place where I can express myself and receive praise and comments for what I do and I like it, but I am not glorifying Him. I continue to pray Lord help me!!

      That’s so insightful and honest. Praying with you that we would all honor Him with our gifts. Blessings, sister-friend.
