He took this prodigal’s sin upon Himself —
The holy Lamb of God
Going to the grave, bearing God’s holy wrath, for me.
For you.
But death couldn’t hold Him down.
The grave couldn’t keep Him in the ground.
Three days later He rose.
Three days later when it seemed that death had won, breath filled His lungs.
Three days later He unwrapped those death cloths and stood up.
Three days later the Father turned His face back towards His Beloved.
And true life began.
This Jesus is the stone that was rejected by you, the builders, which has become the cornerstone. And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.
Acts 4:11-12
He isn’t in that musty grave.
My Lord is risen!
He’s King of all!
That’s worthy of some rejoicing.
Praising Him today!
