Our dog ran away this past weekend with her conspiring dog-cousin. Thankfully they eventually came back — muddy, disgusting, and smiling from ear to ear. But that situation reminded me of something. Though tiny next to some of the life-altering ordeals that some of you are facing, the weekend reminded me of an important truth about prayer.
