1st you are so cute.
2nd today I had a “God’s Word is alive” moment.
I was teaching Bible to my girls and we were talking about all the ways God is creative. We were looking at verses that said God is author, knitter, potter – ect. We came to verses in Exodus about how God gave specific orders about the incense to be used in the tabernacle. No one was to use this scent. It was “God’s fragrance”. My daughter said, “So God smells good?!”
Which turned me back about 3 years to a Bible study I led. We studied 2 Cor 2:14 about being the fragrance of Christ. We would jokingly say, “Girl, you smell like Jesus”. And, yes He does smell good!
I got so excited by this connection. I’m not sure they were AS excited as I was, but it is so beautiful to really think that no one smells like Jesus. And when He lives in our hearts, we get to share that fragrance with others.
And – Sweet Lara and Katie you are spreading the knowledge of Him in every place! May God bless this book! His Word not only is active, but it does not return void! I can’t wait to hear how lives are transformed through your book!
🙂 your Relevant11 roomie…

I LOVE that, Stacey. Isn’t it funny when God makes those connections so real to us and others look at us like we’re a little crazy. (Or maybe that just happens to me.) Anyway, you are precious. Cannot WAIT to see you in a few weeks at Relevant11!
