I’m hanging out with sweet Kat over at Inspired To Action today talking about how adorable you are. Seriously. God sorta told me through my four-year-old boy. And no, I’m not trying to blaspheme. But you are adorable. You can read more about that by clicking here.
Which reminds me of a book I recently reviewed. Have you “met” Holly Gerth through this online world? She loves Jesus and writes as one gifted by her Maker. And she just released an encouraging, new book called “You’re Already Amazing“. Let me just say, I read it in two days. Which for this slow-reading, no-free-time girl, that means it must be good.
You’re Already Amazing: Embracing Who You Are, Becoming All God Created You to Be By Holley Gerth |
In it she touches on that comparison pit we as women often fall into. And how God already made you and me amazing. He designed us and equipped us for the call He graciously placed upon us. He gives us the skills to accomplish His will. I could go on and on. But ultimately she inspires the reader to be the *you* that He created. Let’s just say, I highly recommend it for your Spring and Summer reading list.
Anyway, I pray you walk tall as daughter (or son) to the King today. He knows us perfectly and loves us regardless. What grace.
Fill me, Lord…
How have you struggled to believe that “you’re already amazing”?

I get Inspired to Action emails and read your encouraging article. Thank you! I love your blog and as I read the about page, I laughed out loud when you said you want to one day “break it down” with Lecrae. I’m a huge fan on his music as well, so I can appreciate having that goal! Maybe you should post a video and send it to him. 😉
Anyways, your blog is such a blessing. I thank God for equipping women like yourself to be an encouragement to others.

Ha! Thanks. And it’s nice to know others can appreciate my goal. Who knows. God does wild things sometimes.

Oooo…I’m so glad to hear you loved the book. My copy is on the way. I can’t wait to read it. I struggle daily to believe anything good about myself. This is a battle that I am fighting hard though and seeing tiny little victories daily now.

Yes, it really is great. Practical. It is a constant battle but He intends for us to walk confident in who He has designed us to be. Much love, friend.
